WRVC is not a humane society but does it's best to help
give animals a chance at life. The Wolf River Veterinary Clinic maintains
a fund that is based on private donations, for the care of stray animals who
need a home. These funds off-set the costs of caring for the sick and
injured animal, spaying, neutering, vaccinating, and then caring for them until
they can be placed in an appropriate home.
While we cannot function like a humane society, we try, to do the best of
our abilities to give every animal a chance at life.
Donations are certainly welcome. Please check out WRVC's efforts toRehabilitate a paralyzed dog named Sadie.

Hi…My name is Wyatt. I am a 3 year old male cat. I am black with beautiful
copper color eyes. I am very friendly even though I have a huge sore on my
neck and under my front leg. I came into the vet clinic as a stray and I
had a collar embedded in my skin. So I need an extra special home with
someone to love me.

My name is Billy. I am a 2 year old short haired gray and white tabby
male. I am very friendly and I seem to get along well with other cats. I
am current on all my vaccine, but I still need to be neutered. However that
would be included in my adoption fee.

Hazel
is a 2 year old Siamese Snowshoe mix. She is not yet spayed, but will be before
adoption. She is up to date on all vaccines and gets along well with other
cats. She came in malnourished and pregnant. She had only one kitten
survive and because she had no milk, staff had to bottle feed her baby. She
is very sweet and friendly.

Hi My name is Apollo! I am a 1 ½ year old neutered male lab mix. I am a
very friendly big hearted guy! I will go with you anywhere. I love to
explore! I can’t wait to be part of your family.
If you cannot adopt an animal but want to help out these guys, please consider
giving to the Stray Animal Fund. S.A.F.E. (Stray
Animal Fund Endeavor) is a program within the Wolf River Veterinary clinic which
cares for the areas stray cats and dogs. The clinic provides safe, comfortable
housing for strays until they are either claimed by their owners, or, if
unclaimed, placed into our adoption program. Adopted pets are spayed, neutered,
vaccinated, checked for any potential health problems, and their personalities
are assessed prior to their placement in a new home. It is the goal of
S.A.F.E. to do the best we can to give every life a chance.
