Why Get Your Medication from a Vet Clinic?

While there are many reputable internet organizations offering to sell you veterinary products, we believe that these products are best if purchased from your own veterinarian.  There are many reasons that we feel this way:

            *If your pets has an adverse or abnormal reaction to a product, it is best
              if our medical team knows exactly what medication was given.

            *Your veterinarian will know what other medications your pet is
              currently using, so that we can warn of interactions or
              possible complications.

            *Many companies only honor product guarantees when a veterinarian
              prescribes and sells the product.  So, purchasing the product from an
              unauthorized distributor like many internet pharmacies or mail order
              catalogs, won’t guarantee the product the same, or the follow-up care
              if the product wasn’t 100% effective.

            *We assure that any prescription medication which is purchased from us
              has been inspected and approved by the Food and Drug Administration
              and has been manufactured and packaged in the USA according to
              government regulations.

            *We pass on any manufacturers promotions and/or rebates which means
              more savings.  Our prices are comparable to others when you add in
              shipping/ handling charges, rebates, and specials from the manufacturer,
              and ease of purchase.

            *We try to work with you to fill your specific needs-selling you individual
             doses, giving samples, or even mailing your prescription to you.

            *Lastly, there are some internet pharmacies that we just prefer not to
             associate with due to possible ethical breaches including, selling products
             that haven’t been approved in the US, products that are unsafe for use in
             cats (and shouldn’t even be used on the dog, if it’s living with a cat), and
             illegally packaged and labeled products.

While it is your right to purchase your pets medications wherever you choose, we don’t recommend it.  You wouldn’t likely purchase medications for yourself which had questionable safety, do you want to make that potential sacrifice in your pets?
